Industry Supported Symposium


SGO provides a limited number of industry partners the opportunity to host a lunch-time symposium during the Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer®. The Annual Meeting is SGO’s flagship event and the premier educational activity for those in the fields of gynecologic oncology and women’s cancer care. The continued success of the Annual Meeting is due to the combined strength of its commitment to scientific research and its ever-evolving variety of educational programming.

The Symposia provide an opportunity to disseminate high-quality, evidence-based scientific information to SGO meeting attendees. All symposia are scheduled during lunch time to provide the attendees an opportunity for additional education, networking and ease of scheduling around Annual Meeting courses and presentations. Past attendance has reached more than 400 participants at each session.

SGO will not designate CME credit for these programs. Those wishing their symposium to be CME certified must obtain certification from another accredited CME Provider/Accredited Sponsor (hospital, university, medical education company, etc). It is preferred but not required that CME be offered at the symposia.

The fee to participate in a symposium is $40,000. Additional fees incurred are not covered by this fee (for example: Food, Beverage, Audio Visual, etc.)
