Who We Are

The Society of Gynecologic Oncologists (SGO) is a national medical specialty organization of physicians, surgeons and healthcare professionals who are trained in the comprehensive management of women with malignancies of the reproductive tract.

The Society's Membership

SGO is a national medical specialty society for physicians trained in the comprehensive management of women's cancers. The Society's membership, totaling more than 1,300, is comprised of gynecologic oncologists - obstetrician/gynecologists with three-four years of additional, intensive training in the specific study of gynecologic cancers - as well as women's cancer healthcare professionals including medical oncologists, radiologic oncologists, nurses, social workers and pathologists.
