The SGO Annual Meeting on Women's Cancer offers a variety of exceptional educational experiences, as well as a wide range of opportunities to network with colleagues and friends from across the country and the globe. Set in a venue that reflects the fast-paced nature of this surgical sub-specialty, the SGO Annual Meeting will attract over 1800 members and guests ranging from gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, obstetricians, gynecologists, fellows and residents in the area of OB/GYN and GYN oncology, nurses, scientists, health care professionals, pharmaceutical and device company representatives and others involved in the care of patients with gynecologic malignancies.
Abstract Submission
Submit your Abstract/Surgical Film to the 42nd Annual Meeting before the deadline on October 4th, 2010 at 11:59pm Eastern Time.
Late-Breaking Abstract Submissions will be accepted for consideration from December 1, 2010 at 8:00am Eastern Time through January, 21st, 2011 at 11:59pm Eastern Time.
Hugh R.K. Barber Lectureship, Best Oral Abstract
The Hugh Barber Lectureship will represent the highest quality in scientific data/research and will be considered the most significant abstract selected for presentation at the Annual Meeting. The lead author of the selected abstract will be awarded the SGO Oral Abstract Award. The SGO Annual Meeting Program Committee will identify the top five abstracts submitted and ask the authors to submit a manuscript for review and selection as this year’s best paper. Presenting authors for those abstracts being considered for this prestigious award will be contacted directly immediately following the Program Committee Meeting in November. The lead author of the selected abstract will receive a $1500 monetary award, plus be reimbursed for expenses to attend the Annual Meeting. This lectureship will be presented on Sunday, March 6, 2011* and have an extended presentation at the Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer™.
