About National Harbor and the DC Metro Area
Located just 15 minutes (5.5 miles) outside of the District of Columbia, National Harbor, MD, is home to the Gaylord National Hotel & Convention Center plus more than 150 diverse shops and over 30 dining locations. One of the main tourist attractions is the Capital Wheel, a 175-foot Ferris wheel on a pier that extends into the Potomac River. National Harbor also includes a beachfront walking path and a connection to a bike trail on the Woodrow Wilson Bridge that crosses over the Potomac River into Alexandria, VA.
If your travel plans keep you in the DC metro area for a few days past this midweek conference, be sure to visit some of the numerous memorials, monuments and museums throughout the nation’s capital.
