Global Session Submissions
Global session submissions will be selected on the basis of scientific merit and relevance to current international gynecologic cancer care prevention, treatment, challenges, and outcomes for presentation as a poster to be followed by lectures pertaining to the topics of selected global session submissions. Select abstracts will be chosen for oral presentation in addition to posters. All global session submissions will be reviewed through a double-blinded peer review process. Global session submissions are open to all clinicians, researchers, and scientists; SGO membership is not a requirement.
This 2017 SGO International Program will emphasize global gynecologic cancer epidemiology. Our goals are to identify geographic variations in worldwide gynecologic cancer incidence with a particular emphasis on the burden of gynecologic cancers in low and middle income countries, the challenges of public health reporting and examples of successful models for the development and implementation of reliable and accurate cancer registries. Surgical films will not be accepted for this session.
