ISSTD World Congress XVII

SGO partnered with the International Society for the Study of Trophoblastic Diseases (ISSTD) to present their World Congress XVII Sept. 20-23, 2013, in Chicago, IL. Hosted by the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago and the Robert H. Lurie Comprehensive Cancer Center of Northwestern University, and featuring abstracts in the field as well as an SGO education symposium, this global event is key for those interested in the study of trophoblastic diseases.

Led by Course Directors Drs. John Lurain, Julian Schink and Emily Berry this three-day conference includes education and abstracts on trophoblastic disease topics such as:

  • History, Pathology and Genetics of GTD
  • Clinical Features and Complications of Molar Pregnancy
  • Hydatidiform Mole Management and Follow-Up
  • Staging of GTN
  • Low and high-risk GTN
  • And a case-based discussion on difficult cases.

SGO hosted its one-day annual State of the Art Conference on Friday, Sept. 20, 2013 in conjunction with the World Congress.
