The SGO 2024 Allied Health Professionals Meeting is September 27–29, 2024 at the Charlotte Marriott City Center in Charlotte, North Carolina!
This meeting is specially designed for nurse practitioners and physician assistants/physician associates, along with other members of the gynecologic oncology care team, including physicians, registered nurses and pharmacists.
Cancellation requests submitted to meetings@sgo.org on or before August 16, 2024, will receive a full refund, less a $100 USD administration fee. After August 16, 2024, there will be no refunds granted for any cancellations or for non-attendance at the SGO 2024 Allied Health Professionals Meeting. All registrations are non-transferrable. SGO does not allow substitutions for attendee registration cancellations.

Targeted TherapY Advanced Bootcamp: Pull, Aim, Squeeze, Treat: Putting the Fire Out on Gynecologic Cancers One Target at a Time
Friday, September 27, 8–11 a.m. ET
This bootcamp will help prepare Allied Health Professionals to better understand genetic testing, molecular targets of interest, recommend targeted therapies, and manage toxicities related to these newer/novel treatment approaches. As molecular testing is occurring for all gynecologic cancers, being able to utilize these results to the patients’ advantage is critical. The aim is to help those in attendance feel more comfortable with the approach and these therapies.
This bootcamp is recommended for Allied Health Professionals administering chemotherapy, who have at least three years of professional experience. Participants will be eligible to claim 2.75 CE.
It will take place on Friday morning before the conference officially kicks off. The cost is not included in the conference registration fee. There are no refunds granted for any cancellations.
Hands-on Workshop 1: IUD PlacemeNt
Saturday, September 28, 7:30–10 a.m. ET
Audience: Any level of experience; works primarily in outpatient setting
This workshop will review the benefits of IUD insertion and scenarios for appropriate use. Course faculty will provide a hands-on simulation experience to promote increased comfort and ease of insertion.
Space is limited for the Hands-on Workshops. The cost is not included in the conference registration fee, and you must be attending the Allied meeting to be eligible for these workshops. There are no refunds granted for any cancellations.
Hands-on Workshop 2: Incision & Drainage, Suturing
Saturday, September 28, 3–4 p.m. ET
Audience: Any level of experience; works in inpatient and/or outpatient settings
This interactive workshop will offer participants the chance to learn and practice to gain confidence and comfort. The workshop will cover suturing, incision, and drainage, and all supplies will be provided. Faculty will be on hand to provide demonstrations, discuss indications and use cases, and provide tips and tricks from experience.
