SGO 2021 Virtual Annual Meeting on Women’s Cancer
This meeting is intended for gynecologic oncologists, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, obstetrician/gynecologists, fellows and residents in these areas, research scientists, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, allied health professionals and other clinicians involved in the care of patients with gynecologic malignancies.
- Identify the latest global research regarding novel therapies, surgical techniques and scientific research in the prevention, screening and treatment of gynecologic cancers.
- Describe innovative medical and surgical management of gynecologic cancers and how to integrate new treatments and guidelines into clinical practice in an evidence-based manner.
- Identify social determinants of health indicators and barriers to care in order to ensure health care access and equity for all women with gynecologic cancers.
- Review challenges in caring for women with gynecologic cancers in the COVID-19 era, including rapid uptake of technology and virtual platforms, and describe innovative office practice to enhance care.
In support of improving patient care, the Society of Gynecologic Oncology is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the health care team.
