Innovations in Surgery and Perioperative Care: Special Issue of Gynecologic Oncology Call for Papers

The scope of this special issue addressing innovations in gynecologic oncology surgery and perioperative care will include significant, major advances in gynecologic oncology surgical techniques, how they have evolved and changed standard practice through their implementation into clinical routine, as well as how optimization of perioperative care has resulted in the safe extent and implementation of maximal effort surgery even in high tumor burden patients, both in the primary as well as the relapsed situation. We would like to also address further psychosocial, infrastructural and health economics aspects that, even if indirectly, significantly affect and shape surgical evolution and its translation across the different healthcare systems nationally and internationally.

The publication of the issue will coincide with the 2021 Annual Meeting of the Society of Gynecologic Oncology.

Please click here for details of the outline which provides general guidance on relevant topics for Gynecologic Oncology’s forthcoming special issue on Innovations in Surgery and Perioperative Care, which will be published in the Spring 2021.

Please send your papers for review to the Gynecologic Oncology online submission system. Please click on the article type “SI: Innovations in Surgery and Perioperative Care” when uploading your paper. Papers need to be submitted by Wednesday, September 30, 2020.
