The SGO 2025 Allied Health Professionals Meeting is October 10-12, 2025, in Denver, Colorado at the Hilton Denver City Center.

This meeting is specially designed for advanced practice providers, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, physicians, and other members of the gynecologic oncology care team who are in any phase of their career.

Registration Category Descriptions

Physician/Scientist: This category is intended for physicians, or non-physicians with a PhD or equivalent.

Allied: This category is intended for allied health professionals. Examples include clinical nurse specialists, nurse practitioners, clinical trial data managers, field researchers, genetic counselors, medical practice management professionals, registered nurses, patient navigators, case managers, pharmacists, physician assistants, psycho-oncology professionals, public health practitioners, radiation technicians, social workers, and patient advocates.

Industry Professional: This category is intended for non-physician employees of a commercial company including credentialed individuals, such as PhD, PharmD, or MBA. Commercial companies are defined as those involved in research, development, production, manufacturing, and/or sales of oncologic-related products or services These individuals must have a legitimate educational or business reason for attending the SGO 2025 Annual Meeting but are not exhibiting. Examples include, but are not limited to, distributor, manufacturer, prospective exhibitor, medical/pharmaceutical sales, medical director, and industry research.

Non-Members: If you are not a member of SGO and would like to apply for membership, please complete an application. Become a member.

 

Cancellation Policy   

  • Cancellation deadline: Friday, September 12, 2025 at 11:59 p.m. CT
  • Cancellation fee: $100

SGO will not provide refunds for cancellations received after September 12, 2025. All refund requests must be sent via email to meetings@sgo.org. 

Substitution Policy   

If unable to attend the meeting, it is permitted to have a substitute. If the substitute’s registration fee is more, the registration will be held until the balance is paid and the original registrant submits the substitute’s contact information with written request for substitution. Deadline for substitution requests is September 26, 2025. All substitution requests must be emailed to meetings@sgo.org. No substitution requests will be processed on-site, and refunds will not be issued for no-shows.

Basics Bootcamp: Women’s Wellness: Hormones, the Pause, and Sexual Health for Gynecologic Cancer Survivors 

Friday, October 10, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. MT

The program will cover essential topics including the physiology of menopause, hormone therapy guidelines for gynecologic cancer survivors and previvors, basic management of hormone therapy, non-hormonal approaches to managing menopause, and key aspects of sexual health. Special attention will be given to managing genitourinary syndrome of menopause (GSM), exploring both hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options, and addressing conditions such as vulvodynia and dyspareunia. Providers will gain practical strategies to optimize quality of life and support holistic care for patients throughout and beyond cancer treatment. 

Target audience: any clinician interested in becoming more competent in menopause and sexual health management for gynecologic cancer survivors 

This bootcamp takes place Friday morning and is eligible for 2.75 CE credits. Bootcamp registration is a separate cost to the Allied Health Professionals Meeting registration and is in-person only. There are no refunds granted for cancellations.  

 

Hands-on Workshop: Colposcopy  

Saturday, October 11, 7:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. MT

Attendees will gain hands-on experience with colposcopy techniques and learn how to operate a colposcope (one per station). Participants will practice performing biopsies using Tischler forceps and an endocervical curette on food models designed to simulate human tissue. The session will also cover how to evaluate and classify grades of dysplasia based on colposcopy results.

Expert faculty will be available at each station to demonstrate techniques, discuss clinical indications and use cases, and share practical tips and insights.

Hands-on registration is a separate cost to the Allied Health Professionals Meeting registration and is in-person only. There are no refunds granted for cancellations.
