Minimally Invasive Surgery Academy: Virtual Workshop for Fellows
SGO invites you to send your fellows to the Minimally Invasive Surgery Academy: Virtual Workshop for Fellows. This will be an opportunity for your fellows to augment their fellowship learning experience and learn techniques, tips, troubleshooting, and tricks specifically for clinical application in gynecologic oncology.
Led by minimally invasive surgical experts Joshua Cohen, MD, and Emma Rossi, MD, this will be a great opportunity to get gynecologic oncology-oriented robotic experience for your clinical. This course is also designed to complement and springboard from our SGO Robotics Academy webinar series (which you can access for free through SGO ConnectEd), as these will provide a solid robotics knowledge base prior to the course.
Drs. Cohen and Rossi led this one-day workshop designed to address the following topics:
- Career Impact of Robotics and Setting up for Success after Fellowship
- Robotics for Endometrial Cancer and Cervical Cancer
- Sentinel Lymph Node Identification & Dissection
- Docking and Port Placement for Si and Xi
- Suturing
- Pelvic Vessel Sealing
