The SGO on the GO podcast channel is expanding! SGO’s signature podcast provides concise, portable education content for busy clinicians. Episodes are brief discussions regarding clinical practice, advances in research, and other compelling topics relevant to gynecologic oncology.
SGO launched the new APP Pulse series, created by APPs for APPs in June 2026. The first few episodes have had the greatest number of listens of all previous episodes. Following this success, SGO will be launching two more new series in 2027—one targeting gynecologic oncology fellows and one targeting gynecologic oncologists.
SGO Podcast Task Force

Task Force Member Criteria:
- Current SGO member
- Currently practicing in gynecologic oncology
- Familiarity with podcasts (listens to educational podcasts on their own)
- Previous SGO involvement, committee service or leadership role preferred
Task Force Responsibilities:
- Help select series hosts based on applications submitted
- Provide input on series outlines and episode topics
- Help identify appropriate speakers, if needed
- Give guidance on how to handle controversial topics that arise
- Assist with final content review, as needed
- Develop standards for industry sponsorship of an episode or series
- Review proposals for industry-sponsored content

SGO Podcast Series Host
Apply now to host of one of the two new podcast series. Each series will have two co-hosts and will consist of 10 episodes. One series will be designed for gynecologic oncology fellows, and one will be designed for gynecologic oncologists.
Host Criteria:
- Current SGO member
- Currently practicing in the field of gynecologic oncology
- Active social media user
- Expertise in gynecologic cancer issues
- Personable, able to relate to others
- Able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Preferred:
- Previous podcast experience (host or guest on a podcast)
- Ability to translate complex topics into practice insight and application
Host Responsibilities:
- Provide input on episode topics
- Create episode outlines and oversee content development
- Help to identify appropriate speakers based on episode topic
- Introduce topics and facilitate conversations with speakers, with an ability to summarize and translate real-world implications
- Record standard intro and outro to be used at start and end of each episode
- Assist in content review and final approval of each episode
Estimated time commitment: 35–40 hours, October 2026–May 2027
