New SGO/SAGES Clinical Practice Statement Addresses Obesity Management in Endometrial Cancer Care
The Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) have released a new clinical practice statement on the role of metabolic and bariatric surgery (MBS) and other weight loss interventions in the management of obesity among patients with endometrial intraepithelial neoplasia (EIN) and endometrial cancer.
The statement provides evidence-based guidance to help clinicians consider how obesity treatment can be integrated across the cancer care continuum.
