Jana Specht, PMP
Project Manager
Jana Specht served as Operations Manager for the SGO and FWC from March 2022 throughApril 2026. After earning the Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification, she transitioned to the role of Project Manager.
As Project Manager for the SGO and the FWC, Jana leads the development and coordination of organizational projects by establishing standardized processes to improve consistency and efficiency, supporting cross-team collaboration, and ensuring projects move from concept to completion with clarity and alignment.
Prior to her employment with the SGO/FWC, Jana received her Bachelor’s Degree in Oboe Performance from DePaul University and earned her Master’s Degree in Performance from Northwestern University. She then chose to pursue music as a hobby rather than a career and currently plays with two community orchestras in the Chicago area.
Jana lives in Chicago with her husband Jake and their dogs Cooper and DiDi. She enjoys reading, traveling, and taking their dogs camping.
