Kelsey Wood
Director of Membership
Kelsey joined the team in February 2026 and is the Director of Membership for the Society of Gynecologic Oncology (SGO) and the Foundation for Women’s Cancer (FWC), where she leads strategies to recruit, engage, retain, and grow membership. She oversees membership programs, benefits, and data-informed initiatives while serving as a key liaison between members, volunteer leaders, and internal teams.
Previously, Kelsey directed membership strategy for the International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer with a global and multidisciplinary membership and earlier led software development teams as a Certified Scrum Master. She is a proud two-time AmeriCorps alum, having served in both AmeriCorps NCCC and AmeriCorps VISTA.
Kelsey earned her Certified Association Executive (CAE) credential in 2024 and was recognized as the 2025 Colorado Society of Association Executives (CSAE) Emerging Leader of the Year. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and mass communications with an emphasis in public relations from Humboldt State University in California. Kelsey resides in Colorado and enjoys spending time outside with her family, time inside on her Peloton tread or bike, appreciating good food and wine, and balancing reality TV with reading.
