NIH Public Comment on Research Gaps & Cervical Cancer Survival

The, in conjunction with the , is seeking comments from the scientific community, professional societies, and the general public to assist in identifying gaps in research and clinical practice pertaining to the following:
• Rising maternal morbidity and mortality rates
• Increasing rates of chronic debilitating conditions in women
• Stagnant cervical cancer survival rates
The comments will help inform the upcoming event titled “,” which will be held virtually on Oct. 20, 2021. The conference is being convened in response to a congressional request for NIH to address its research efforts related to the above topics.
